One thing I think a lot of people don’t know about Ohio is that it is full of marshlands.
The area where I live is especially full of marshes and they are one of my favorite things to photograph. Unfortunately much of our wetlands have been paved over to make strip malls but conservationists have been working to prevent further destruction of the natural habitat here for the past couple decades. This particular marsh is a part of the Weygerzyn Gardens, a botanical center in Dayton Ohio.
I edited this one pretty quickly and just uploaded it right away, so I’m not sure if I did a very good job with it. Maybe it’s a touch oversaturated and sharpened. Busy images with lots of trees are tough to get just right, for me.
